Diagnostic Imaging Technologist - Cath Lab

Location: Lawton, Oklahoma
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Work in a complete Cath Lab environment supporting Cardiologists, Interventional Radiologists, and a General Surgeon.
• Provide cardiac and peripheral diagnostic and interventional services including:

  • Left and Right Heart Catheterization
  • PTCA, Stenting, Thrombectomy, Atherectomy
  • Carotid diagnostic and stenting
  • Peripheral diagnostic and interventional procedures such as Pacemaker Insertion, Tilt Table Test, Kyphoplasty, AV graft diagnostic, stent, and thrombectomy
• Rotation between various duties including assisting in pre- and post-procedure areas, patient transport, and other assigned tasks.
• Monitoring patients using advanced devices such as Philips Laser System, IVUS, OCT, and various coronary and peripheral atherectomy devices.
• Experience with TAVR (Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement) is a plus.
• Equipment includes Siemens Artis Zee C-arms and McKesson CPACS, Cardiology, and Hemodynamic Systems.

Schedule

• 10-hour day shifts
• Rotate call during evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Call frequency: 7 days per month, including one weekend per month

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an X-Ray Technician, with experience within the last year
• Experience as a Cath Lab Technologist
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Proficiency in monitoring patients in the Cath Lab environment
