Job Opportunity: Manager - Laboratory Operations

Location: Corvallis, Oregon
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

Manage day-to-day operations in the laboratory department. Collaborate closely with the Laboratory Director on policy and procedural matters.

Department Overview

Responsible for testing samples including blood, body fluids, and tissue to aid in diagnosis of diseases and medical conditions.
Lab tests support hospital inpatients, emergency room patients 24/7, as well as outpatient and clinic specimens.
The laboratory is licensed under CLIA and accredited by the College of American Pathologists (CAP).

Required Qualifications

Certified Medical Laboratory Scientist (ASCP, AMT, or equivalent).
Minimum five (5) years experience in a clinical laboratory role, including Clinical Lab Scientist (CLS) experience within the last year.
Minimum two (2) years laboratory leadership experience.
Experience in leadership roles.
