Registered Respiratory Therapist

Location: Cleveland, Ohio
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights, 32 hours per week (7:00 PM - 7:30 PM on weekends and holidays)

Job Description

• Provide respiratory therapy services as prescribed by provider orders.
• Work environment involves sitting, standing, stooping, bending, and intermittent ambulation.
• May require sitting or standing for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
• Exposure to communicable diseases, body fluids, and chemicals is expected.
• Requires normal vision and hearing (with or without correction).
• Must have finger dexterity to operate office equipment.
• Effective communication skills in person, phone, and email are necessary.
• Use of clinical software such as Epic and Pyxis is required.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Ohio.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.

Additional Information

• Night shift position with weekend and holiday hours.
• Physical demands include moderate lifting and exposure to clinical hazards.
