Job Opportunity: Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Travel Position

Shift:
- Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
- Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
Weekend Hours: 36 (unless otherwise noted)
Call Requirements: Yes, 2 hours for the oncoming shift
Float Requirements: Must float as RRT with some NICU/PICU, acute care pediatrics, ED, adult acute, and critical care

Experience & Education Requirements

Years of Experience Required: 3+ years in Respiratory Therapy (highest stated requirement)
Prior Travel Experience: Not explicitly required
Certifications Required:
- RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) required
- BLS required
- ACLS preferred
- NRP required for NICU experience

Facility Type: Tertiary, teaching hospital, Level 1 trauma center
Number of Beds: Varies depending on daily assignments; coverage across entire facility with a team of 14-16 RRTs

- Acute care: 1:25
- Critical care: 1:8

- Drager V500 and VN500 ventilators
- Hamilton T1 and C1 ventilators
- Respironics V30, V60, Trilogy line

Desired Skills & Personality Fit

Must Have: Experience in tertiary, teaching hospital, and Level 1 trauma settings
Preferred: NICU/PICU and cardiothoracic experience
Personality: Flexible, team player, excellent communication skills
