Unit Information

• Number of Beds: 36
• Number of Staff: 55 employees
• Shift Staffing:

  • Day Shift: 1 Clinical Coordinator, 6 RNs, 3 Techs, 1 Unit Secretary
  • Night Shift: 1 Clinical Coordinator, 6 RNs, 2 Techs
• Patient Ratios: 1:6
• Equipment Used: Baxter IV pumps, Medfusion pumps, Sequential Compression Devices (SCDs)
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Meditech

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Must Have:

  • BLS Certification
• Preferred:

  • Experience with post-operative patients
  • Competency in dressing changes, wound care, and drain management

• Care of post-operative patients
• Maintenance of drains
• Wound care
