Special Procedures Tech (Travel)

Location: Saint Louis, Missouri
Facility: EP Lab

Position Details

• Specialty: Special Procedures Tech (EP - Cardiac Cath, Critical Care or Electrophysiology preferred)
• Shift: Day shift, 4x10 hours (36 guaranteed hours per week)
• Number of Openings: 1
• Certifications Required: ARRT
• Years of Experience Required: 2+ years
• Preferred Experience: PFA experience helpful; Cath lab experience a plus
• Dress Code: Black scrubs

Job Summary

• Assist with EP ablation procedures, device implants, and watchman procedures in a busy EP Lab
• Operate and manipulate Philips and Siemens X-ray systems, including selecting exposure factors and processing digital images
• Lift, move, and transport patients as needed
• Must be capable of continual standing and walking, recognizing emergency situations, adapting to stressful environments, and effective communication

Education & Experience

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program with completed clinical hours
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in specialty (defaulted to higher requirement)
• ARRT certification required

Working Conditions & Requirements

• Must be able to manipulate X-ray equipment and evaluate digital images
• Physical demands include lifting and transporting patients, continual standing and walking
• Ability to recognize emergencies and adapt to stressful situations

Additional Information

• Flu vaccination required for all travelers from November 1 to April 1 (exemptions require approval)
