Position Details

- Patient Population: Medically delicate and surgically complex adult patients including respiratory failure, sepsis, closed head injuries, multi-system organ dysfunction, endocrine disorders, complex traumas, and surgical complications.
- Average Patient Load: 3 high acuity patients
Requirements
- Years of Experience: Minimum 2 years in specialty
- Prior Travel Experience: Not explicitly required
- Certifications & Skills:
- ACLS certification required
- Competency in advanced hemodynamics including pressor usage per titration protocols
- Experience with antihypertensive drips, sedative and narcan drips, thrombo-embolytics
- Skilled in managing arterial lines (a line), central venous pressure (CVP), external ventricular drains (EVD), orthopedic traction, and infection prevention protocols
- Proficient with HFNC, BiPAP/CPAP, and oxypendent devices
- Experience: Nurses with large scale adult PCU and community hospital ICU experience preferred
- Additional Requirements: Epic electronic medical record (EMR) experience required; navy blue scrubs required
Contract Length
- Duration: 13 weeks
