Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) - Travel Position

Location: Oro Valley, Arizona
Employment Type: Travel

Job Description

Assist the Physical Therapist in delivering patient treatments and managing referred patients.
Provide documentation of treatment and outcomes, discharge planning, and patient/family/caregiver education.
Participate in administrative duties and performance improvement activities.
Pursue professional growth and perform other duties as assigned.

Work Setting

Inpatient & Skilled Nursing Unit
Shifts: 5x8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Rotating weekends: 2 to 3 weekend shifts required
Minimal to no return to office (RTO) as consistent coverage is needed

Requirements

Must have an active Arizona license and BLS certification
Minimum 2 years of hospital experience in the specialty
Experience with Cerner EMR system

Contract Length

13 weeks
