Location: Savannah, Georgia
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Unit Overview

  • Unit: Angiography / Interventional Radiology (IR) Labs
  • Number of Beds: 3 Angiography Labs (2 Dedicated IR Labs, 1 Hybrid OR)
  • Patient Ratio: 1:1
  • Staffing: Teams typically include Lead Tech, RN, ARRT/RTR, RCIS (3-4 person teams with 2 Techs and 2 RNs)
  • Equipment Used: IVUS, Shockwave, Angio Jet, Jet Stream
  • Documentation System: EPIC Cupid
  • Shift Schedule: 4 shifts of 10 hours each, with on-call requirements
  • Floating Policy: Not applicable
  • Patient Population: High acuity, including ICU and ER patients
  • Trauma Level: Level 1 Trauma Center
  • Stroke Center: Certified Stroke Center

Job Description

  • Perform specialized procedures including Permcath, Port Placement, Thrombectomy, Atherectomy, TVAR, TIPS, EVAR, PE interventions, Stroke, and Trauma care
  • Manage critical care drips and provide care in Angio/IR settings, including stroke and trauma cases
  • Work in a high-acuity environment with advanced interventional technology

Required Qualifications

  • Interventional Radiology Technologist with at least 1 year of experience, including experience within the last year
  • ARRT or RTR certification
  • ICU and ER experience
