Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - Travel Position

Location: Vineland, New Jersey
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Details

• Shift: Day
• Weekly Hours: Guaranteed 32 hours, with potential for 40 hours
• Weekend Hours: No
• Call Requirements: No
• Number of Openings: 1
• Patient Population: All age groups; pediatric experience not required but must be competent if working with pediatrics
• Setting: Outpatient, community-based practice covering multiple outpatient locations
• Common Diagnoses/Treatments: Variety of outpatient diagnoses

Required Qualifications

• License: New Jersey Physical Therapist Assistant State License
• Experience: Will consider new graduates; preferred 1-2 years of experience in specialty
• Certifications: NJ PT State License required

Preferred Qualifications

• Outpatient experience preferred
• Ability to establish and maintain relationships with colleagues, patients, and families

Work Environment & Dress Code

• EHR System: Cerner
• Dress Code: Business casual or solid color scrubs, closed-toe shoes
• Appearance Standards:

  • No visible facial piercings (including tongue)
  • Hair color must be natural tones (no unnatural colors like blue or pink)
  • No artificial nails, extenders, gel polish, or materials that cannot be removed quickly
  • Natural nails must be less than ¼ inch long and nail polish cannot be chipped
  • Tattoos or body art that are obscene, sexual, racial, ethnic, or religious discrimination must be covered during work hours

Additional Notes

• No float requirements
• No weekend or call duties
• Patient ratios and number of beds not specified
• Must be able to work across multiple outpatient locations if needed
