Required Certifications

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• NIH Stroke Certification

Requirements/Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Arizona
• Minimum 2 years of CVICU experience, including experience within the last year
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Required travel experience
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification

• STEMI, NSTEMI
• COPD exacerbation
• Sepsis
• CABG (Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting)
• Valve repair/replacement
• Acute Respiratory Failure
• Atrial Fibrillation with Rapid Ventricular Response (A. Fib RVR)
• ETOH Withdrawal
• Head Injury
• Overdose
• Stroke
• Trauma
• Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT)
• TCAR & TVAR procedures

Additional Information

• Attendance policy allows one call-out per contract; a second requires documentation and review
• No block schedule requests; 48-hour shifts may be considered but are not guaranteed
• Candidates must be located 60 miles or more from the facility to qualify for travel status
• Orientation is weekly

This position offers the opportunity to work in a Level III Trauma, Joint Commission Accredited community hospital with a certified Chest Pain Center. The location provides access to outdoor recreation and is within driving distance to major cities and national parks.
