Job Opportunity: RN - ICU (MICU) - Travel Position in Alabama

Job Description

• Work in a 16-bed Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) providing complex monitoring and treatment of adult patients.
• Must be willing to float to other units and hospitals.
• Schedule options: 36 or 48 hours per week.
• Holidays as required by the facility.
• Every other weekend required.
• Collaborative work with all disciplines of the care team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Focus on providing a safe, secure, and comfortable patient experience.

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Education: Associate Degree in Nursing.
• Licensure: Registered Nurse license in the State of Alabama or compact license (No temporary licenses accepted).
• Certifications:

  • AHA ACLS
  • AHA BLS
  • AHA NIH or Red Cross equivalent
• Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of nursing experience preferred.
  • Will consider 18 months of experience working under the highest level of professional license.
  • Must have 1 year of recent experience in ICU specialty.
• Prior travel experience: Not explicitly required.

• Dress code: Solid navy scrubs.
