Facility Overview

• Level II Trauma Center
• 12-suite Operating Room (OR), including 2 Cardiovascular ORs (CVOR)
• Bed Capacity: 309
• Staffing: 2 CVORs; Day Shift includes 4 RNs and 4 CSTs; Night Shift is on-call
• Patient Ratio: 1:1
• EMR System: Meditech

Position Details

• Employment Type: Travel
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Schedule: Expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees

Required Qualifications

• Specialty: Certified Surgical Technician (CST) in Operating Room Technology (ORT)
• Minimum 5+ years of Cardiovascular OR (CVOR) experience (higher requirement between 1 year and 5+ years applied)
• Main OR experience with willingness to float to main OR
• Certifications: BLS, Certified Surgical Technician (CST)

Preferred Qualifications

• Nurses who also scrub
• RNs with Meditech experience

Typical Procedures

• Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG) / Valve Replacement
• Thoracic and Vascular surgeries
