Overview

Travel RN position in Elko, Nevada
13-week contract
40 hours per week
Variable 10-hour shifts with call
Weekly orientations

Schedule

Call required: 1 day during the week and 1 weekend per month
Weekend coverage is on call

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Nevada
PACU - Post Anesthesia Care (2 years of experience)
PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience within the last year
ACLS
BLS
PALS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Pre-op experience
Phase II experience

Experience / Skills

IV skills
Experience in pre-op, PACU, and Phase II

Unit Details

Surgery department
10-bed unit
Patient population ranges from pediatrics to geriatrics
Float requirements: yes

Patient Ratios

Pre-op and Phase II: 1:4
PACU: 1:2

Preferred

Previous travel assignment
2 years of experience in an acute hospital
Rural experience preferred
