Overview

• Travel RN position in Springfield, Missouri.
• 1 opening.
• Nights, 1830-0700.
• 36 guaranteed hours per week.
• 13-week assignment.
• Weekend coverage is every third weekend.
• No call required.
• Float assignments are as required by the facility, depending on skill level.
• Night shift orients on day shift and must be available the entire week.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Missouri.
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
• Driver's License.
• BLS issued by American Heart Association.
• 1 year of Med Surg experience within the last year.
• OB/GYN experience.
• Maternal - Newborn experience.
• Flu vaccination or Mercy-approved exemption is required for all travelers from November 1-April 1; declinations are not accepted.

Preferred Qualifications

• NRP.
• STABLE.
• Both Mother/Baby and Med Surg experience.

Unit Details

• Obstetrics and Gynecology 5B.
• 24 adult beds and 10 newborn beds.
• Estimated patient ratio: 6:1.
• Equipment includes Alaris IV pumps.
• EMR: EPIC.

Patient Population

• Mother/baby and med/surg.
• GYN surgical.
• Bariatric procedures.
• Colorectal surgeries.

Additional Notes

• Black scrubs required.
• Mercy branded tops are required.
• Team player, positive attitude, and motivated self-starter are emphasized.
