Overview

Travel RN role in Johnstown, Pennsylvania
13-week contract
36 guaranteed hours per week
Weekly orientation on Mondays
Auto offers
Holiday RTO will not be accommodated
Candidates must live 60 miles or more away to be considered travel

Unit / Setting

Floor: Tele / PCU
Trauma Level: 1
Patient population: Cardiac geriatric
Patient ratio: RN 1:5
Call: None
Weekend requirement: Every other, depending on unit staffing needs
Float scope: Not normally floated; may float to 1:1s depending on needs

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Pennsylvania
PCU - Progressive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
ACLS
BLS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience working with Cardiac patients
Travelers MUST have Cardiac Cath experience

Preferred

2+ years of experience
Cardiac skills/experience

Clinical / Case Mix

CP
MI
Open Heart
Watchmen
TAVR
Post-op cardiac cath
Post-op pacer

Additional Notes

Equipment: Pacer Alines
EHR: EPIC
Scrub color: Any
Unacceptable attire: No hoodies
