Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - Travel Position

Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Contract Length: 14 weeks

Job Overview

• Work in an inpatient rehabilitation program focused on patients recovering from strokes, brain or spinal cord injuries, amputations, complex orthopedic injuries, and other conditions.
• Facility features include low stimulation secured unit with monitored rooms, specialized beds, patient lifts, dedicated therapy gym and dining area.
• Therapy gym equipped with advanced devices such as InMotion Robotic Arm and therapy car for relearning vehicle use.
• Special apartments for practicing daily living tasks, private family-friendly rooms with sleeper chairs, and an outdoor healing garden with walking trail.

Unit Profile

• Number of Beds: 36
• Patient Ratio: 6 patients per 1 therapist
• Patient Population: Adult, Geriatric, Neurological (CVA)
• Common Diagnoses/Treatments: CVA (stroke), Amputee, Orthopedic conditions
• Equipment Used: Standard rehab equipment, Ekso NR, REAL VR
• Electronic Health Record (EHR) System: UDS ProDoc

Required Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy Assistant license in Oklahoma
• Minimum 1 year of Physical Therapy Assistant experience, including experience within the last year
• ABCP certification
