Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab (Travel)

Location: Hudson, Florida
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36

Unit Overview

Level II Trauma Center with a 309-bed capacity
Unit: 2 Electrophysiology (EP) Labs
Staff on unit: 1 Cardiovascular Technician (CVT), 4.5 RNs
Shift staffing example (Day): 1 charge nurse, 3 RNs, 2 CNAs, 1-3 sitters
Equipment: GE X-ray system, Claris hemodynamic system
EMR system: Mac Lab / Meditech
Patient ratios: Not applicable

Job Description

Monitor and scrub EP cases
Typical procedures: A-Fib ablations, EP diagnostics, device insertions, TEE/CV
Robust EP program with a great team and physicians
No call requirement
Scheduled to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida
Minimum 1 year of Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year
Electrophysiology Lab experience
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
