Physical Therapist (PT) - Travel Position

Location: Nashville, Tennessee
Contract Length: 12 weeks
Employment Type: Travel

Job Summary

Provide inpatient acute rehabilitation therapy in a 40-bed adult/geriatric rehab hospital.
Deliver customized, intensive rehabilitation for patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury.
Typical schedule: Monday to Friday, 8-hour day shifts, with 1-2 weekend shifts per month.
No call or float requirements.
Patient ratio approximately 6:1.

Required Qualifications

Valid Physical Therapist license in Tennessee
Minimum 1 year of Physical Therapist experience within the last year
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
Experience working with adult and geriatric patient populations

Work Environment & Additional Details

Shift: Day shift, approximately 32 hours per week.
Patient population primarily adult and geriatric.
Common diagnoses treated include stroke, neurological conditions, cardiac issues, debility, and orthopedic injuries.
Personality fit: flexible and dependable.
Scrub color: Navy blue.
Report time: 7:45 AM.
Employee parking available.
