Registered Nurse (Rehab) - Travel Position

Location: Brownsburg, Indiana
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36 (includes weekend hours)
Patient Population: Adult
Unit Details:

• 40-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital
• Patient ratio: 1 nurse to 6 patients
• Electronic Health Record system: Epic

Job Description

Provide specialized, intense rehabilitation nursing care tailored to patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury. The role supports maximizing patients' health, function, and quality of life through comprehensive physical medicine and rehabilitation programs.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Indiana
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Minimum 2 years of rehabilitation nursing experience
• Rehabilitation nursing experience within the last year

Work Schedule & Environment

• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Weekend hours required
• Shift start times: 7:00 AM or 7:00 PM
• Scrub color: Navy

Additional Information

• Patient care occurs on the 1st and 2nd floors of the facility
• Parking available on the side with handicap spots or at the back of the building
