Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer

Location: Smyrna, Tennessee
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 2 months
Shift: Monday through Thursday, 8:30 PM – 7:00 AM
Hours per Week: 36

Job Description

• Work in the Ultrasound unit with 24/7 coverage.
• Utilize three GE Logiq E9 XD Clear Ultrasound machines.
• Perform procedures including OB/GYN studies, vascular studies, abdominal studies, some pediatrics, and possibly thoracentesis/paracentesis.
• Documentation systems used: Meditech (EMR) and FUJI Synapse (PACS).
• No floating required.
• Schedule is Monday through Thursday nights with no on-call duties.
• Dress code: Caribbean Blue scrubs.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist, including experience within the last year.
• ARRT (S) or ARDMS certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• Demonstrated de-escalation skills in a healthcare setting.
