- 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts (8 AM - 5 PM)
Job Summary
- Manage the designated nursing service line and staff at the facility.
- Ensure quality and compliance with nursing policies and standards.
- Assist in OR circulating nursing cases as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor programs for safe, efficient, and quality nursing care.
- Ensure consistent application of nursing service policies across the organization.
- Monitor patient outcomes and effectiveness of nursing care.
- Oversee performance of managers and teams; identify and address staff training and development needs.
- Collaborate with medical staff, department heads, and administrators on nursing services and strategies.
Required Qualifications
Education
- Master of Science in Nursing
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of Operating Room (OR) experience, including experience within the last year
- Experience in management roles
Licenses and Certifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
Additional Notes
- Must have OR circulating RN experience.
- Willingness to assist on cases when necessary.
