- 12 HR Day Shift
- 36 hours per week

- Must live 50 miles away
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in District of Columbia
- Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
- Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
- NIHSS
- BLS
- ACLS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience with Cerner
Preferred Qualifications
- BSN
Responsibilities
- Performs patient care functions in accordance with licensure, certification, training, and regulatory requirements
- Delivers care in a competent, capable, caring, and efficient manner
- Applies knowledge of growth and development across the life span to provide age-appropriate care
- Obtains and interprets information in terms of patient needs
- Understands the range of treatment needed by assigned patients
- Makes initial assessments and determines nursing needs of assigned patients
- Performs initial and ongoing assessments, including review of systems
- Completes admission assessments within the required time frame according to policy and procedures
