Licensed Vocational Nurse / Licensed Practical Nurse
Location: Portland, Maine
Setting: Outpatient OTP clinic
Employment Type: Temp
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days, 8 hours per day
Required Qualifications
- Valid LPN / LVN license in Maine
- Clinic (1 year of experience)
- Clinic experience within the last year
- BLS
- 1 year of medication administration experience
Job Responsibilities
- Dispense prescribed medications according to program policy and medical protocols
- Maintain dispensing equipment and medication inventory
- Document patient treatment information and required records/reports
- Ensure controlled substance storage and distribution comply with regulations
- Perform daily patient assessments
- Assist with orientation of new nursing staff
Additional Notes
- Background check and 10-panel drug screen are handled by the employer
- Matching scrubs required
- Opioid addiction center experience is highly preferred
