Job Opportunity: Radiology / Cardiology Travel Contract

Location: Seattle, Washington


Position Details

  • Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
  • Employment Type: Travel/Contract
  • Contract Length: 13 weeks
  • Required Experience: Minimum 1 year in specialty (Radiology/Cardiology)
  • Prior Travel Experience: Not required (First Time Traveler OK)
  • License: Must have an active Washington State license

Work Schedule & Unit Information

  • Unit focuses on breast imaging, screening, and diagnostic procedures
  • Monday through Friday, no weekends or holidays
  • Open the day after Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve
  • Outpatient clinic setting in a Medical Office Building on campus
  • Typical day off during the week varies (usually Tuesday or Wednesday) — flexibility required
  • Patient Age Group: Adults and Geriatrics

Required Skills & Procedures

  • Outpatient experience required
  • Procedures required:
    • 3D Mammography
    • Diagnostic Mammograms
    • Digital Mammography
    • Screening Mammograms
  • Additional preferred skill: Experience with Hologic equipment
  • EPIC system skills required

Certifications & Licenses Required

  • ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
  • ARRT (Mammography)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • Active Washington State License

Orientation & Attire

  • Orientation: 8 hours
  • Scrubs: Any color

Compliance & Documentation Requirements

  • Background check within 45 days of start, covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years
  • Education verification required
  • Drug screening: 10-panel drug screen within 90 days of start (no instant tests)
  • Physical exam within 1 year of start, signed by MD, NP, PA, or DO
  • Immunizations and health documents required:
    • TDAP (Tetanus/Diphtheria/Pertussis) within 10 years or declination
    • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months
    • MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination or positive titer
    • Hepatitis B vaccination or signed declination
    • Varicella vaccination or positive titer
    • Flu vaccine during flu season or declination
    • COVID vaccine or declination
  • Respirator fit testing required for travel candidates (updated annually)
  • References: Minimum 2 supervisor references covering 1 year of employment in a comparable specialty/setting within the last 3 years
  • Employment application covering at least last 5 years required

Additional Requirements

  • Must complete Providence Health and Services annual regulatory and specialty-specific training modules via WorkRamp LMS platform
  • Epic training modules required prior to or shortly after start
  • Float policy acknowledgment: May be required to float to other Providence facilities within reasonable distance
  • Photo for badge: Not required for this specific facility
