Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (ER) - Travel/Contract

Location: New Haven, Connecticut
Facility Type: Short Term Acute Care, Level I Trauma Center
Charting System: Epic

Job Details

Schedule: 3x12 hour night shifts
Patient Ratios: Average 1:6 (days and nights)
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Floating: May float within scope to meet facility needs
Block Schedule: Accommodations possible
Campus Assignment: Assigned to one campus with possible rotation to others (no trauma/rescue rooms, triage, or locked behavioral health units for travelers)
Guaranteed Hours: Yes
Pending License: Accepted
Return to Office (RTO) Restrictions: RTO greater than 7 days requires approval

Contract Length

Duration: 13 weeks

Requirements/Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Connecticut
Minimum 1.5 years of Emergency Department (ED) experience, with ED experience within the last year
Current ACLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Current BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Experience in an Acute Care setting
