Registered Nurse - Travel/Contract Opportunity

Location: Coupeville, Washington
Setting: Outpatient Oncology and Infusion Clinic (Rural healthcare setting)
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday
Infusion Chairs: 8
Staffing: Charge and triage RNs, plus 3 to 4 infusion staff per shift
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Required Credentials & Certifications

• State License: Primary source online verification required
• NURSYS Verification: Required for RN, LPN/LVN, AP
• Basic Life Support (BLS): Required for all candidates (AHA only)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS): Confirm unit-specific requirements (AHA only)
• Chemotherapy Certification (CHEMO): Required for Oncology
• Other certifications may be required depending on unit (e.g., PALS, NRP, TNCC, CEN) – verify with unit description

Background & Compliance Requirements

• Background check within 90 days covering all locations lived/worked/schooled in past 7 years
• EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG exclusion checks within 90 days
• Education verification or official transcripts/diploma with graduation date
• Washington State mandated WSP/WATCH search within 90 days prior to start (required by state law)
• References: 2 professional references within 3 years of start

Health & Safety Requirements

• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Fit mask test within 1 year, updated annually (not required for Oncology Clinic RNs)
• Immunizations or titers for:

  • MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) – declination form available
  • Hepatitis B (titer required; vaccination or declination acceptable)
  • Varicella (titer or completed series)
  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years; declinations accepted)
• Negative TB test (QGold or TSpot) within 12 months; chest x-ray if history of positive TB test
• TB questionnaire annually, regardless of TB test result
• Seasonal vaccinations/documentation for Flu and COVID-19 (vaccination or declination required)
• 9 Panel Drug Screen within 1 year of start, including marijuana

Competency Requirements

• Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam as applicable
• Annual competency exam required

Facility Specific Requirements

• Clear, passport-style photo for badge
• Review and sign unit-specific job description prior to start
• Sanction disclosure and monthly sanctions search compliance
