Job Opportunity: CT Technologist (Nights)

Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma
Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology

Job Description

  • Position: CT Technologist, night shift
  • Schedule: Sunday through Tuesday and alternating Wednesdays
  • Must be competent on Siemens CT scanner in a Level 2 busy Emergency Department CT department
  • Unit welcomes first-time travelers
  • Required specialty experience: 1 year
  • Required certifications:
    • ARRT (Radiologic Technologist)
    • BLS (Basic Life Support)

Required Experience

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Radiology/Cardiology specialty
  • Prior travel experience is NOT required (unit welcomes first-time travelers)

Certifications & Competencies

  • ARRT Radiologic Technologist certification
  • BLS certification (AHA, ARC, RQI, or American Safety and Health Institute)
  • ACLS, PALS, NRP, CHEMO, TNCC, CPI, MAB, NIH Stroke Certification as applicable
  • Tech Certification Verification (national) as applicable
  • Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam (80% passing score or meet Angoff score)
  • Color Blind Testing (online)
  • Competency Exams (minimum 80% passing score or meet Angoff score)
  • Orientation Safety Manual Acknowledgement (HIPAA)

Licensure & Background Requirements

  • Primary source online verification of state license
  • 7-year background check within 1 year of start, updated annually
  • EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required upon hire
  • Education verification (highest level) required
  • Work history verification for 7 years
  • Skills checklist (unit specific) required annually

Health & Immunization Requirements

  • Physical exam within 12 months of start
  • Fit mask test within 1 year of start, renewed annually
  • Adult Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap vaccine within 10 years
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year
  • TB questionnaire within 90 days of start (renew annually if positive)
  • Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella: Positive titer or 2 vaccines required
  • Hepatitis B: Positive titer, series, or declination accepted
  • Varicella: Positive titer, 2 vaccines, or physician-documented history required
  • Negative 10-panel drug screen within 90 days of start
  • Seasonal flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required during flu season (Oct 1 - Mar 31)
  • COVID-19 vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required (no declinations accepted)

Additional Requirements

  • Valid Driver’s License or State ID
  • Clear headshot photo for badge
  • Completion of employment application/resume
  • Internal facility-specific documents and attestations as required

This position offers an opportunity for travel healthcare professionals with at least 1 year of CT experience, especially those comfortable working nights in a busy ED setting with Siemens CT scanners. First-time travelers are welcome.
