Location: Kingman, Arizona Employment Type: Travel/Contract Contract Length: 13 weeks

Schedule

• Shift: Day, 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 to 19:30
• Hours: 12 per day, 36 per week
• Float Scope: Float between ED and OBS

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Arizona
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Emergency Department (ED) experience: 2 years, including experience within the last year
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• BLS (Basic Life Support) issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• NIHSS
• TNCC

Onboarding Requirements

• Competencies: Competency exam (as applicable by profession and specialty); medication test/pharmacology competency exam (as applicable by profession)
• History: 2 professional references within 3 years of start; skills checklist completed annually
• Job Description: Facility job description assigned by level of education (BSN, or ASN/Diploma)
• Facility Forms: Agency attestation, employee security and confidentiality agreement, behavioral expectations, right to know, HIPAA and information security training, agency candidate form, and a passport-style badge photo with a solid background (complete as a priority)
• Identity: Government-issued photo ID
• Background Check: 7-year search completed within 30 days of start and updated annually, including SSN trace, county searches for the last 7 years of residence, work, and school, nationwide sex offender search, and education verification; EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required annually
• Drug Screen: 9-panel drug screen within 30 days of start (instant screen acceptable); not renewed annually
• Physical Exam: Within 1 year of start; not required annually
• Fit Test: Within 1 year of start, updated annually
• Tuberculosis: Negative PPD, QGold, or TSpot within 1 year of start, updated annually (or a past positive chest X-ray within 5 years of start with annual TB questionnaire); TB questionnaire annually
• Measles, Mumps, Rubella: For candidates born in 1957 or later, proof of titer or 2 MMR doses at least 28 days apart; for negative or equivocal titers, client policy applies
• Hepatitis B: Titer, declination, or 3-dose vaccine series
• Varicella: Titer, 2 vaccines at least 4 weeks apart, or history of chickenpox
• Flu Vaccination: Vaccine or declination required during flu season (10/1 to 3/31)
