• Shift: Night (4x12 Hours), 19:00–7:00
• Hours per week: 48
• Weekend requirement: Every other
• Local candidates: Must live more than 30 miles from the facility
• Open to block scheduling: No

Unit / Assignment Setting

• Provides respiratory care in ICU, ER, Cardiac Cath Lab, Medical and Medical-surgical floors, PACU, and Labor and delivery/nursery
• Facility is an Acute Care Hospital with 210 staffed beds

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Florida
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (1 year of experience)
• Registered Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
• CRTT
• Experience working with Labor and Delivery patients
• Experience in a Hospital setting
• Tracheostomy care experience
• End-tidal CO2 experience
• Brain death apnea experience
• Exercise desat studies experience
• Required experience with Servo I ventilator
• Required experience with Servo U ventilator
• Required experience with V60 ventilator
• Required experience with AirVO2 (High Flow) machine
• Orientation Safety Manual Acknowledgement
• State License 1 Verification
• NURSYS Verification as applicable
• Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam as applicable
• Competency Exam as applicable
• Color Blind Testing Online
• Physical Exam
• Fit Mask
• Negative TB or Chest X-Ray
• COVID documentation
• Flu vaccination documentation or facility-specific declination/exemption
• Two professional references
• Performance Evaluation on file within the last year
• Skills Checklist 1
• Florida - AHCA Level II Fingerprint Results

• RRT is preferred in the source certification list
