• Travel/Contract role in Simpsonville, South Carolina
• Night shift: 3x12, 19:00–7:30
• 13-week contract
• Float is required to other like units or nearby hospitals if needed

Unit / Clinical Focus

• Tele unit
• Patient diagnoses include orthopedics and bariatric experience

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in South Carolina
• Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
• 2 years of Med Surg / Telemetry experience
• One completed travel assignment
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• NIHSS
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Orthopedics experience
• Bariatric experience
• Experience with Epic

• PALS
• NRP
• TNCC
• ENPC
• Tech Cert - National
• MAB or CPI
• NIH Stroke Certification
• Pass/Fail Testing (EKG/Medication)
• Color Blind Testing Online
• Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam
• Competency Exam
• Core Part I
• Core Part II
• Core Part III

Additional Notes

• Medication system: Pyxis
• Driver’s License/State ID is required immediately upon signing to set up computer access and must be carried while on duty
• Online modules must be completed within 72 hours of assignment and before start
• Badge photo is required
• Physical exam is required within 1 year of start
• Fit test is completed onsite during orientation
• Drug screen is required within 1 year of start and updated annually
• Flu vaccine documentation or exemption is required
