Interventional Radiology

Role Overview

• Travel/Contract assignment in Chicago, Illinois.
• Day shift: 4x10 hours, 7:00–17:30.
• 40 hours per week.
• On-call required.
• Weekend requirement: yes.
• Meal break length: 30 minutes.
• Contract length: 12 weeks.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in Illinois.
• ARRT.
• BLS issued by American Heart Association.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
• Interventional Radiology Technologist experience within the last year.
• 1 year of Interventional Radiology Technologist experience.
• Neuro experience.
• Illinois Healthcare Worker Registry verification is required before every new contract and extension.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced certification in Vascular Interventional Radiology.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree.
• 1–3 years Interventional Imaging experience.

Compliance / Pre-Start Requirements

• Current and valid Driver’s License or Government Photo ID with address is preferred, but highly recommended to have on file.
• Proof of name change is required if legal name does not match compliance documents.
• 7-year criminal background check within 30 days of start.
• EPLS/GSA/SAM check within 30 days of start.
• HHS/OIG check within 30 days of start.
• Education verification of the highest level of education.
• Transcript or diploma required for pending education verifications that do not meet the compliance deadline.
• Physical exam within 1 year of start.
• Fit mask testing within 12 months of start and updated annually.
• Tdap within 10 years of last administered date.
• Negative TB or chest X-ray documentation.
• Drug testing within 30 days of start.
• Flu vaccination or approved facility-specific exemption during flu season.
• Initial series of COVID vaccines or declination required.
• Bystander Intervention Training Certificate.
• Illinois DPH HCWR fingerprint results / LiveScan if not already listed as eligible on the Illinois Healthcare Worker Registry.
