Job Overview

Location: Greensboro, North Carolina
Employment type: Travel/Contract
Shift: Nights, 3x12s, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
Weekly hours: 36
Contract length: 16 weeks
Floating: May float between campuses if needed
Weekend coverage: Up to every other weekend; travel staff are asked to sign up for 5 weekend shifts every 6 weeks

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in North Carolina
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
PCU - Progressive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
NIHSS
Driver's License
Central line management
PICC line management
CVP monitoring
Rapid response team utilization
Post-cardiac catheterization patient care
TR band management
Acute coronary syndrome care
Myocardial infarction assessment and management
Arrhythmia management
Cardiac catheterization lab patient care
Experience with Epic

Additional Notes

First-time travelers are accepted
Focus is on cardiac and progressive care patients, including post-MI, pre/post cardiac cath, arrhythmias, chest pain, STEMI/NSTEMI, atrial fibrillation, Tikosyn loading, and heart failure
