Overview

Travel/Contract role in Indianapolis, Indiana
Night shift: 4x12 hours, 19:00–7:30
13-week contract
Staffing ratio: 1:3–4
First-time travelers accepted
Locals not accepted

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Indiana
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
PCU - Progressive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
BLS issued by American Heart Association
Experience with cardiac monitoring- on unit monitoring
Management of chest tubes
Fresh trachs
Feeding tube care and management
Care of post of patients
Epidurals
Management of non-titratable cardiac drips
IV insulin protocols and titration of insulin drips
External BiPAP/CPAP
Total laryngectomy

Unit Details

Surgical PCU with almost ICU-level acuity
Patient population includes ENT, Thoracic, General Surgery, Urology, and Medical overflow
