Role Overview

• Pediatric ICU level Therapist
• Travel/Contract assignment in Columbia, Missouri
• Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:00
• 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend
• First-time travelers are accepted
• No locals within 50 miles

Required Qualifications

• Certified Respiratory Therapy - NICU with 2 years of experience
• Certified Respiratory Therapy - NICU experience within the last year
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
• Registered Respiratory Therapist experience

Additional Requirements

• Ability to work the full term of the assignment at the assigned location
• Ability to work the substantial time of the assigned shift
• Ability to take call
• Ability to work assigned weekends
• Ability to work at least 50 percent of holidays during the contract
• Rotating shifts, holiday work, and work during inclement weather may be required
• Physical demands include ambulating, reaching, and moving objects weighing up to and over 20 lbs
• May come into contact with patients who have contagious illnesses
