Work Expectations

• Nights may have a 1:4 patient ratio, sometimes 1:5
• Must be able to float divisional, overflow, and ED holds
• Must be available to work 2–3 holidays, including Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas, New Year’s Eve, and New Year’s

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Texas
• PCU - Progressive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
• PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
• One completed travel assignment
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• NIHSS
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

• Epic experience
• CPI
