Unit Details

42-bed unit
Post-operative orthopaedic cases, trauma, ortho spine, medicine, and plastics
Patient ratio: 1:6 on nights
Every other weekend required
Floating required
50% of holidays required

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Missouri
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
1 year of nursing experience
Med Surg (1 year of experience)
Med Surg experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Preferred Qualifications

ACLS

Work Conditions

Must be able to ambulate, reach, and move objects weighing up to and over 20 lbs
May be exposed to contagious illnesses
Rotating shifts, holidays, and inclement weather coverage required
Must be able to work the full contract term, assigned weekends, take call, and work at least 50% of holidays during the contract
