Travel/Contract Registered Nurse Job Summary
Location
- Burlington, North Carolina
Schedule
- Day shift
- 3x12 hours
- 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
- Every other weekend and every other holiday
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Key Job Details
- Primarily medical-surgical patient population
- Telemetry-capable unit with remote monitoring experience required
- Must float to all Cone campuses as needed for patient care
- Patient ratio: 1:5–6
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in North Carolina
- Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
- Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- NIHSS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Driver's License
- Experience with Epic
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Charge RN experience
Additional Notes
- First-time travelers are accepted
- Candidate must be flexible with scheduling and aware of a zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
- Compliance must be completed by 12:00 PM EST on the Wednesday before the start date
