• Night shift
• 3x12 hours or 4x12 hours
• 36 hours per week

Contract Length

• 16 weeks

Specialty Experience

• Neonatal and pediatric experience required
• 5 years of experience in a level 4 NICU preferred

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Texas
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (1 year of experience)
• Registered Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Red Cross or American Heart Association
• Experience working with Neonate patients
• Experience working with Pediatric patients
• Certified Respiratory Therapy - NICU experience

Required Documents and Compliance

• Government-issued photo ID
• Social Security card
• Proof of E-Verify or attestation
• 7-year criminal background check covering all locations lived or worked in during the past 7 years
• International background searches if the candidate has lived, worked, or attended school outside the U.S. in the last 7 years
• EPLS/GSA/SAM check within 30 days of start and at each renewal or extension
• HHS/OIG check within 30 days of start and at each renewal or extension
• Physical exam, updated annually
• Fit test completed on site
• Tdap vaccination
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start, updated annually
• Measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella immunity documentation
• Hepatitis B titer, vaccine series, or declination
• Drug screen within 30 days of start
• Flu vaccination during flu season, or approved medical/religious exemption with masking requirement
• 2 clinical references
• Completed application/resume
• Skills checklist for the applicable unit, updated annually
