Behavioral Health Registered Nurse (Travel/Contract)
Location: Baltimore, Maryland
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Unit & Patient Population
- Adolescent Neuropsych Unit
- High acuity behavioral health setting
- Preference for candidates with experience in neuropsych population
Schedule & Hours
- Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each)
- Guaranteed 36 hours per week
- Weekend requirement: Every other weekend
- Floating required within scope to meet facility needs, including to any age population as needed
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maryland
- Minimum 2 years of behavioral health nursing experience, with at least some experience within the last year
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Additional Notes
- RNs may be required to serve as charge nurse during shifts without additional pay
- Free employee parking available on campus

- Charting system: Sunrise
- Candidates must complete various facility-specific documents including criminal background disclosure, confidentiality agreements, and informed consent forms prior to start
- CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) training will be conducted onsite for all candidates
- Candidates must bring a clear headshot photo on white background for badge issuance
- Candidates must complete fingerprinting at least 10 days prior to start date; results must be cleared before or during orientation
- Out-of-state candidates must comply with Maryland fingerprinting requirements; mail-in fingerprinting is not accepted
- Facility has strict policies regarding drug screening and immunizations to support behavioral health and addictions treatment environment
