Overview

Job type: Travel/Contract
Shift: Day shift, 3x12 hours
Weekly hours: 36
Contract length: 13 weeks
Patient ratio: 1:5–6

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Texas
Telemetry (1 year of experience)
Telemetry experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association or ARC
NIHSS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Experience

Travel experience preferred

Unit Highlights

Adult to geriatric patient population
Focus on cardiac care, including recovery from cardiac interventions such as cardiac surgery, coronary artery stent placement, and pacemaker implantation
Also admits hemodynamically stable non-procedural cardiac patients
36 private rooms
