MRI Tech Travel/Contract Position
Location: Indianapolis, Indiana
Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
Shift: Night shift, 5 days a week, 8-hour shifts (10:30 PM – 6:30 AM)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details

- Locals not accepted; candidates must live at least 50 miles away from all facilities
Required Qualifications
- MRI Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of experience
- MRI Technologist experience within the last year
- Emergency Room (ER) skills
Health and Immunization Requirements
- Physical exam within 1 year of start, signed by MD, NP, or PA, confirming good health and ability to perform job duties
- Fit mask test (N95 or equivalent) within 1 year of start
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap vaccine within 10 years
- Negative TB test (QGold or TSpot) within 30 days of start; if positive, chest X-ray and TB questionnaire required
- Proof of immunity or vaccination for:
- Measles (Rubeola)
- Mumps
- Rubella
- Hepatitis B (titer required; declination form required regardless of immunity)
- Varicella
- Seasonal flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption on file
- COVID-19 medical or religious exemption form if applicable (subject to facility approval)
Competency and Testing Requirements
- Must complete competency exams immediately upon signing, including:
- Core Parts I, II, and III (Prophecy Exam accepted)
- OSHA mandatory training
- Medication/Pharmacology competency exam (minimum passing score 84%)
- Dysrhythmia/EKG competency exam if applicable (minimum passing score 84%)
- Pass/fail testing remediation process in place for EKG/medication exams if needed
Additional Notes
- Travelers must complete facility-specific documents prior to start, including privacy policy acknowledgements, TB questionnaire, contractor data sheet, and others as required
- Photo ID for badge must meet specific guidelines (solid background, professional attire, no hats or sunglasses)
- Travelers must surrender facility badges and devices upon contract completion to avoid charges
- No prior travel experience required for this position
