• Block Scheduling: Cannot be guaranteed
• EPIC Experience: Required

Required Certifications

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - AHA Instructor or Provider only, RQI accepted
• BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA Instructor or Provider only, RQI accepted
• NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) Certification - Must be renewed annually

License Requirements

• Florida State or Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Pending licenses are not accepted

Special Requirements

• Two professional references from authority figures (Managers, Supervisors, Charge Nurses, or Directors) within the last 12 months
• Flu vaccine required during flu season (10/31 - 3/31); medical or religious exemptions accepted with proper documentation
• Physical exam within 6 months prior to start (required by Florida law for all patient-facing candidates)
• Negative TB test or chest x-ray within 3 months of start
• Drug screening (10 panel) within 90 days of start, must include marijuana
• Fit mask test within 12 months prior to start (strict shaving policy, no PAPR alternative)
• Required immunizations or titers within 5 years: Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella
• Background checks including social security trace, education verification, and others as required by state and facility policies
• Florida AHCA Level II fingerprint clearance must be on file prior to start (Livescan electronic fingerprinting required if not already cleared)

• Locals accepted at the same rate as travelers
• Contracted hours are guaranteed
• Traveler may be required to complete facility-specific documents including job description acknowledgment, confidentiality agreement, and badge form
• Auto insurance required if assigned to home health
• Flu exemption forms must be submitted by the Monday prior to start date to avoid removal from assignment
