Job Opportunity: X-Ray Tech

Location: Leominster, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Schedule: 6 days on, 8 days off (Thursday through Tuesday)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
• Experience Required: Minimum 1 year in specialty
• License Requirements:

  • Must have a Massachusetts Radiology license
  • ARRT credentials required

Required Qualifications & Certifications

• Valid Radiology Technologist license in Massachusetts
• ARRT certification
• Minimum of 1 year of Radiology Technologist or X-Ray Technician experience, including experience within the last year

Compliance & Health Requirements

• Physical exam within 12 months prior to start, including physician statement of fitness without restrictions
• Immunizations or valid declinations for:

  • COVID-19 (most recent vaccine or declination)
  • Flu seasonal vaccine or declination (required during flu season)
  • MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella)
  • Hepatitis B
  • Varicella
  • TDAP
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray per facility requirements
• Drug testing within 30 days of start date
• Background checks and verifications including education, licensure, and criminal history
• Compliance with state-specific requirements such as Massachusetts Nurse Aide Registry Search (if applicable)

Additional Requirements

• Employment application covering 7 years of work history with explanations for gaps over 30 days
• Two professional references within the last three years
• Skills checklist completed prior to start and updated annually as applicable
• Pass required competency exams (e.g., medication exam, telemetry exam if applicable) with minimum scores as specified
• Some units may require additional certifications or training (e.g., EKG competency, crisis prevention)

• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position.
