Job Details
- Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
- Shift: 5 days per week, 8-hour day shifts (0630-1800 hours, start/stop times may vary)
- Schedule: Monday through Saturday rotation, no Sundays or observed holidays
- Weekend Requirement: Yes, rotating Saturday coverage
- On-call: No
- Floating: May be required to float within scope to cover X-ray
- Locals Accepted: No (candidate’s permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility)
- First Timers Accepted: Yes
Unit Information
- Outpatient clinic setting
- Most patients are mobile
- Commonly see follow-up cancer diagnosis patients
- Responsibilities include starting IVs, running I-stat labs, injecting contrast, and post-processing images
Required Experience & Skills
- Years of Experience: Minimum 1 year in specialty
- X-Ray Experience Required:
- Extremities
- Abdomen/GI
- Spine/Pelvis
- Head/Chest/Thorax
- Musculoskeletal
- Lower/Upper Extremities
- Preferred Experience:
- Fluoroscopy studies
- Enema studies
Required Certifications
- ARRT-R (Radiologic Technologist)
- ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
Required Qualifications
- Valid professional license for Radiologic Technologist as applicable
- Ability to work in an acute outpatient setting
- Skills per unit description (acute outpatient)
Additional Requirements
- Must be willing to rotate shifts and cover weekends as needed
- Must be able to float to other imaging modalities within scope
- Background checks and verifications as per standard healthcare travel contract requirements
- Physical exam within 1 year of start, including clearance to work
- Immunizations and health screenings including TB, Hepatitis B, MMR, Varicella, Flu, COVID vaccine or declination as required
- Drug screening within 90 days of start
- Completion of required compliance and regulatory training modules prior to start

This position is ideal for a CT Technologist with at least 1 year of experience who is comfortable working in an outpatient acute care setting and is willing to travel to Alaska for a 13-week contract. Weekend work and some floating within imaging modalities are required. First-time travel healthcare workers are welcome to apply.
