Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - CVOR

Location: Lebanon, Pennsylvania
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Schedule & Work Expectations

Monday through Friday, 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM
Call every 3rd day
At least 1 to 2 weekends per month on call
Holidays as needed
Must assist in the general OR when no CVOR cases are scheduled (expectation for all staff)
May care for COVID-19 patients
Tobacco and fragrance-free facility

Required Experience & Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania
Minimum 2 years of CVOR nursing experience, including experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
ACLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
Experience with Epic electronic health record system

Required Documentation & Compliance

7-year criminal background check (including state and nationwide searches)
Pennsylvania FBI fingerprinting within 1 year of start (results must be on file within 45 days of assignment start)
Child Abuse History Clearance (PA Childline) within 5 years
Employment application or most recent resume
2 professional references within 3 years
Skills checklist (annual)
Performance evaluations completed onsite during assignment
Physical exam within 90 days of start, signed by MD, DO, PA, or NPT
Immunizations and health requirements including:
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years)
- Negative TB test (QGold or TSpot) within 90 days
- Measles, Mumps, Rubella (2 vaccines or positive titer)
- Hepatitis B (positive titer or full vaccine series)
- Varicella (2 vaccines or positive titer)
- Seasonal flu vaccine or valid medical/religious exemption (declinations not accepted)
- COVID-19 vaccine or valid exemption/declination
Drug testing: Negative 9-panel within 1 year (specific to agency requirements)
Respiratory safety clearance within 1 year, renewed annually

Additional Requirements

Acknowledgement of pass/fail testing (including Dysrhythmia/EKG competency exam)
Photo for badge (professional, passport-style)
Completion of required facility-specific documents including confidentiality agreements, code of conduct, and health & wellness commitments
Completion of online learning modules and new hire orientation by specified deadlines

Notes

Maximum return to office (RTO) time: 7 days
Floating is not applicable for this role
Local travel rate considerations apply (not disclosed here)

This position is ideal for experienced Registered Nurses with CVOR expertise who are comfortable working in a fast-paced surgical environment with call responsibilities and weekend coverage. Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
