Job Opportunity: Dialysis Registered Nurse

Location: Worcester, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Provide nursing care in an acute care inpatient dialysis setting.
• Patient population includes delayed graft function, acute kidney injury, and end-stage kidney disease.
• Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with every other Saturday rotation and minimal Sunday call.
• Collaborative and positive department culture.
• Experience with Fresenius dialysis equipment required.
• Previous Epic electronic health record experience required.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts.
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
• Minimum of 1 year of dialysis experience, including dialysis experience within the last year.
• Experience in an acute care setting.
• Experience in an inpatient setting.
• Experience with Epic electronic health record system.

Additional Requirements

• Valid government-issued ID.
• Background checks including 7-year criminal history, education verification, and state-specific clearances.
• Health documents including:

  • Physical exam within 12 months, with fitness to work statement
  • Immunizations or declinations for TB, MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap, Flu, COVID-19, and others as required
  • Drug testing within 30 days of start
• Pass medication and telemetry competency exams as applicable.
• Employment application covering 7 years of work history with explanations for gaps over 30 days.
• Two professional references within the last three years.
