Job Opportunity: Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Travel/Contract

Location: Clinton, Maryland
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

• Position: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
• Schedule: 36 hours per week, 12-hour night shifts
• Workload: Every other weekend and every other holiday as needed
• Facility Type: Community hospital (teaching hospital experience preferred)

Required Certifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics specialty
• Experience in adult critical care, emergency department, transports, and endotracheal procedures
• Community hospital experience required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• First-time travelers accepted
• Scrubs not provided; black color required
• Flu vaccine required for all employees

Preferred Skills

• Experience with CPAP/Nasal CPAP/BIPAP
• Knowledge of respiratory distress syndrome
• Familiarity with Cerner electronic health record system

Required Qualifications and Compliance

• Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Maryland
• Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Therapist experience, including experience within the last year
• Experience working with adult patients in acute care and inpatient settings
• Experience with endotracheal procedures
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification

• Prior travel experience is not required for this position
• Must be willing to comply with all facility-specific policies and documentation requirements
• Candidate must provide a clear photo for badge issuance
• Driver’s license required if driving is an essential job function
