Job Description

Seeking an overnight CT Technologist with X-Ray skills to start on March 30, 2026. The position involves working independently during night shifts in a low-volume orthopedic imaging setting. The caseload includes orthopedic exams performed in exam rooms or via portable equipment, serving pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. The technologist may rotate across multiple departments.

Shift:

• Training: Tuesday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM for the first 2 weeks
• Regular: Monday to Friday, Midnight to 8:30 AM (with a 30-minute lunch)

Daily Caseload: Up to 20 patients (may be fewer due to low volume)

Work Settings: Outpatient, Inpatient, ER, Adult ICU

Required Experience & Skills

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist, including experience within the last year
• X-Ray Technician experience
• Proficient in performing CT scans including abdomen, head/neck, musculoskeletal system, brain perfusion, CT angiography (CTAs), and multiplanar reconstruction
• Comfortable working night shifts

Required Certifications & Licenses

• Valid CT Technologist license in New York
• IV Certification
• ARRT Radiography (R) certification
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification

Additional Requirements

• Must pass a criminal background check and various state and federal screenings within 30 days of start
• Education verification required (high school/GED minimum; associate degree or higher preferred)
• Must complete required competency exams and training modules, including medication/pharmacology competency and color blindness testing
• Must provide a recent physical exam and meet immunization/vaccine requirements (TDAP, MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Flu vaccine or approved exemption)
• Fit test for N95 masks required within 1 year prior to start and updated annually
• Must submit a suitable photo for badge within 72 hours of contract signing
• Must complete harassment prevention training and other facility-specific compliance documents
• References: Two manager/supervisor references required (charge nurse references generally not accepted)
• Must verify all current and previous employment for the last 7 years
