Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Location: Hartford, Connecticut
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM (36 hours per week, every other week rotation)

Job Description

Provide nursing care in the Emergency Department and manage inpatient hold ratios/acuity.
Must be able to handle both ED and inpatient hold patient care demands.

Required Qualifications

Licensure & Certifications

Valid RN license in Connecticut.
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) or ENPC (Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course) certification.
TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification.

Experience

Minimum of 1 year of Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience.
ED experience must be within the last year.
