Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Location: Hartford, Connecticut
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM (36 hours per week, every other week rotation)


Job Description

  • Provide nursing care in the Emergency Department and manage inpatient hold ratios/acuity.
  • Must be able to handle both ED and inpatient hold patient care demands.

Required Qualifications

Licensure & Certifications

  • Valid RN license in Connecticut.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) or ENPC (Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course) certification.
  • TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification.

Experience

  • Minimum of 1 year of Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience.
  • ED experience must be within the last year.
